[Review] Ausdom S09 Bluetooth Headphones

The Good

There were plenty of things that were awesome about the S09s. First off the setup for the Ausdom S09 Bluetooth Headphones was effortless. Following that the sound quality was also better than expected. With the great sound quality and this price, these headphones are of great value to say the least. I really loved the top-notch carrying case – which includes a carabiner. The range for these Bluetooth headphones was exceptionally great, even through obstacles. The included USB charging cable’s length is also ample enough for most situations. Another strength was the S09s stay in your ears (even if they don’t feel like they will).

The Bad

There were definitely some setbacks with these Bluetooth headphones. The remote bar is fairly heavy which is strange, you want the remote bar to be lightweight in a sport headphone. Also as usual the audio feedback is dramatically loud. The S09s feel odd in the ear, as if they can fall out at any time. I tested them while running though and the headphones are secure. This would be a deal-breaker for me, if it were not just a feeling. Something else that I wish made an appearance on these headphones was the ability to adjust the amount of slack on the neck (which is where I wear the cord). My Powerbeats 2 Wireless have this function, and I missed it dearly.

The Ugly

I’m glad to report that I didn’t find any deal-breakers with the Ausdom S09s!

Final Thoughts

I am very pleased with the S09s by Ausdom. I believe they offer superb value. I loved the dope carrying case, and felt comfortable throwing these in my gym bag based on the durability of the case. While the headphones felt odd in my ear, they never hit the turf. They are reasonably priced, and come with a longer charging cable than most of their competitors.
