Top 10 Apple Watch Apps – Dark Sky

The next excellent Apple Watch app to be featured in this series is Dark Sky. Dark Sky is the best weather tracking app for the Apple Watch. It also is the best weather app for your iPhone. The app is phenomenal with its weather accuracy. It boasts up to the minute updates straight to your wrist. Before any major weather event you get a notification. You will know before it snows or rains right on your wrist. This notification tells you how many minutes until the event starts.

Dark Sky provides most of the essential weather information you want to know using 3D Touch. The Apple Watch app also makes it easy to see detailed yet simple information. The first screen shows you a right now forecast with other information available by scrolling the Digital Crown.  The second screen features the next 24 hours on a timeline view. The third and last screen displays a 7 day forecast that shows the highs and lows as well as rain percentage.  Dark Sky also sports a superb design and UI experience that is excellent.

I haven’t found any downsides associated with this app. It even accommodates Android users with an app for your smartphone.
