[Review] KEDSUM Bluetooth Headphones

The Good

Lets talk about these bluetooth headphones by KEDSUM. The setup was breezy, I think at this point in the bluetooth game, this is a non-issue for most companies. The sound quality was decent as well. One feature that is exceptional is the active noise-cancelling on these headphones. Their flat cable is nice to prevent tangling, and even the charging cable is flat. They also come in a carrying case, but you’ll hear more on that later. They also fit nicely in the ear which is a big deal for headphones. That’s all topped off by the fact that the price-point on these headphones is very manageable.

The Bad

These headphones suffer from the dreaded “obnoxiously loud voice prompts”. Also the charging cable is blue/white, but my headphone color was red/black. They may have been better off going with a black/white or just white. It just annoyed me from a design standpoint.

The Ugly

The headphones feel cheaply made, the plastic doesn’t leave you feeling like they will last long at all. These headphones only lasted three days before breaking. I had them in my pocket in the case, right next to my Powerbeats 2 Wireless. My daughter must have stepped on them. I simply cannot vouch for the durability.

Final Thoughts

I thought KEDSUM’s Bluetooth Headphones had great potential, but fell short of my expectations. The materials felt cheap, and they ended up breaking in record time for any pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. Fortunately with the cost of these I’m sure you could buy quite a few for an insurance policy. I honestly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone due to the short life mine experienced.
