Have you been experiencing slow data speeds with your device? I was having slow, I mean, slow data speeds with my iPhone 5 on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. I KNEW something was wrong. Because I was experiencing the same problem on two different iPhone 5s. I had to send my original in for a replacement Certified Like New. When I got the replacement phone the slow speeds were happening again. Somehow I believe that my settings from a backup’s backup, from a backup’s backup, etc. Got to the point that things got screwy. Long story short I discovered a way to fix the problem. So if you want to learn how to fix slow data speeds follow the simple guide.
Steps:
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Scroll to the bottom
- Select Reset
- Select Reset Network Settings
- Let the device reboot
- Test the speeds with SpeedTest.net App
The results should look something like this (test was performed on a Verizon iPhone 5 on the 4G LTE network)

Great information. I’ll keep this in mind if I start experiencing slow speeds.
The results were like night and day. When the speeds were slow the pin was in the 1m area. After it was hittin red. I was a happy camper.
