Renewed Faith
Revelation 21:4-5
He makes all things new.
We get used to being where we were before. Get used to not changing. He doesn’t want to just improve us. He wants to renew us.
2 Corinthians 5:17
It’s ok to not be able to talk the talk. The Christianese. We become a new creation. Brand new person inside.
78% say they are a Christian. Only 7% said there was a life change. God works on the inside and not the outside.
It is not about living by rules and regulations.
•Changing outside/in or Changing inside/out.
If we are only focusing on the outside to get to the inside, we will fail. We have to work on the inside to effect the outside. Touch the heart of someone and you will impact their life.
Often we react to the behavior.
It’s a heart change.
•Doing something different or being someone different.
The promises and resolutions don’t last.
•Improving the old you or becoming a new you.
NEW FAITH
Hebrews 10:16-18
God put the laws on their hearts. Wrote them on their minds.
Hebrews 10:19-25
Jesus opened a new way.
Four Connections That Renew Our Faith.
•Hebrews 10:22 -let us go right into the presence of God.
•Hebrews 10:23 -let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm. Do you hold a sword loosely? No! You grip it and are ready to use it. The Word of God.
•Hebrews 10:24 -let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. There is a purpose greater than ourselves. Serve in the body of Christ. Serve in the gifting God has given you.
•Hebrews 10:25 -let us not neglect our meeting together.
It’s easier to just stay home. But if you want to grow you have to do these four points.
Making it Personal.
1. Am I worshiping intimately? Am I speaking God’s love language.

2. Am I eating daily?

3. Am I serving faithfully?
First Peter 4:10
When you use your gift you build up. When you don’t they miss out.
4. Am I connecting regularly.
James 5:16
We are so much better together.
