Verizon recently made waves in the wireless community by bringing back unlimited data. So much so, every other company had to make changes to attempt to keep up with Big Red. Unlimited data with Verizon has been coveted by many for years by those who have not had it. However, there has been a percentage of users who have been grandfathered in. I am one of those. It’s something that I have held onto for many reasons. Now with the new plan in place, there’s only one reason why I am not swapping over to the new plan.
While the new unlimited data plan is great, there is one thing missing. Corporate discount. Through a business, my plan gets a nice discount off the monthly plan. It saves us a ton of money every month. If we were to switch to the new plan we would actually be paying more money.
The benefits of swapping over for us would be unlimited everything and 10gb of tethering hotspot access. Both of which are not deal breakers for my family plan. Therefore, cannot warrant switching over to the new plans.
This is my situation though, what’s yours? Have you swapped over or thinking about it?
