OnePlus X available at

This year we have definitely been introduced to plenty of choices of budget friendly smartphones that are worth taking a look at. OnePlus recently unveiled the OnePlus X and the price is quite nice for what you get. OnePlus is selling it by their ever-so beloved invite system, but if you don’t want to wait around for an invite you can actually get the OnePlus X from

At the time of this post you can pre-order the phone at only $289.69 for the black model. The white you can order now for $287.69. The cost is promo pricing, so expect the price to fluctuate a little. GearBest has the retail at $419.02, so on sale it saves you about 30% off. You’re gonna pay a little more than what OnePlus is selling the X for, but you don’t have to wait for an invite. OnePlus also charges shipping, so in a sense you aren’t paying much of a difference when using GearBest.

The OnePlus X rumors started around the release of the OnePlus 2. We did’t really know what to expect. Some believed OnePlus was going to give us a step up from the OnePlus 2 because many were disappointed the OP2 left out some features like NFC. Others had a hunch it would be a budget friendly device and were correct.

OnePlus X packs some nice specs for the monetary value it holds. It comes with Android 5.1, which is a good OS to be running. It’s not Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but that might come sooner than we know. Not too mention more than likely can unlock the bootloader enabling the user to install custom roms and mods.

One of the interesting features about the OnePlus X is that it supports SD cards up to 128GBs! It’s odd that they decided to include this in the X and not the 2. Regardless it is a welcomed feature because the phone only comes with 16GBs of internal storage.

Fortunately, GearBest is a one-stop-shop and you can buy a Samsung micro sd card for a really good price. For a 64GB card it is only $23.84. There are other cards and sizes for a little less, but 64GBs is a nice sweet sweet spot for having a good amount of storage.

So if you are in a hurry to get a new phone, don’t want to spend a ton of money on a new phone, or looking for a great Christmas gift this year; you can order one of the latest smartphones. Mind this phone will only work on GSM networks like T-Mobile or AT&T.

Let us know in the comments if you decide to pick up a new OnePlus X and while you’re at check out the rest of the page because they actually offer a variety of phones.
