Notable Fearures:
SIM/SD Tray – One of the neat things about this phone is that it comes with a dual SIM card tray that also works as a SD card tray. The catch is that if you use to SIM cards you cannot use the second tray for a SD card. Having two SIM card trays is useful for those who want to have a personal and business lines but with one phone. Not everyone likes to carry around two devices. Being able to have the two lines in one phone can help consolidate what you have to carry around. For those who only need one phone line attached to a device you have the freedom to add a SD card for extra storage.
Metal Body – These days I am appreciating quality build materials with phones. I was happy to see Samsung ditch the plastic because if you think about it, if a much inexpensive phone like the Meizu Metal can have the metal design, why can’t a premium flagship have it too?
Fingerprint Sensor – This is just about a must have feature for me. I love being able to unlock my phone with a fingerprint sensor. Not too mention the security it adds to the phone.
Battery Life – Goodness gracious! This phone has a 3140mAh battery built in the phone! That’s massive for most phones. Let alone this only costing about $226.
Thoughts:
The Meizu Metal for a budget priced device checks off many of my preferences when it comes to what I like in a phone. It has my minimum screen size of 5.5 inches, good build quality, seems like it will take decent pics, running a recent version of Android, and nice features that were noted above.
GearBest.com offers free shipping and the low cost of the phone can make for a nice present coming up for Christmas.
