OnePlus announced over in their forum that the OnePlus 2 is going to have delayed shipping for US and Canada for two to three weeks. The release date is still set for August 11th, 2015, but for those in North America are going to have to wait a little longer than everyone else around the world.
OnePlus said in their statement that Europe will get their shipment before the first shipments get to North America. This is obviously a set back and disappointment for both the company and for users. As I recall it took about two weeks to get the OnePlus One after I ordered the phone from them last year. Being the Amazon Prime member that I am, this is going to feel like eternity because I am so spoiled with the fast two-day shipping!
Granted the delay isn’t the news we wanted to hear, but at least they are being upfront about the problem. Although, part of me says its part of the plan to keep the thirst alive. But I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Don’t forget to secure your invite by clicking HERE giving you a chance to get an invite a little sooner than the other guy. Hopefully we can get an invite quickly so we can start pushing out content about the OnePlus 2!
