Yesterday was honestly a difficult day. My patience was thin and was being tested. I could not wait for the day to be over and for Christen to take over with the kids so I could have a break.
Being real with you I didn’t want to even lead the Life Group that was planned. But I am committed and my problems couldn’t get in the way of leading the group. So I pressed on.
Long story short the time with the Life Group was well worth going. Great discussion and interaction feed my soul.
This is what I learned that night. Just talking about Jesus makes things better.
Simple as that.
But why did I not put my focus on Jesus to begin with? I think it’s safe to say that if I were to have put my focus on Jesus, that day would have more than likely gone a lot smoother.
Learn from my mistake. If things are difficult. Pause. Realign your focus on to Jesus. See what happens.
