Another device that was announced during the busy MWC was Huawei’s second generation smartwatches. The Huawei Watch was arguably one of the best smartwatches for the last year or so and still is one of the great options out there. Now it’s the time for the new edition.
Huawei Watch 2 Availability
Huawei was rumored to be a sport design and leaving the classic look many like. Good news is there will be both. The two watches will be released in April, but no specific day.
Huawei Watch 2 Pricing
No pricing for the USA, but in other markets it’s starting out at $350. The price more than likely will be about that when it hits the States.
The Sport will be made of plastic and rubber types of materials, which obviously gives it the sporty design.
- 1.2″ screen
- Snapdragon 2100 processor
- 420mAh battery
- NFC for Android Pay
- LTE model
- IP68 rating
The Classic is basically the same watch, but made with metal, and apparently lacking LTE support.
Personally, I am not a fan of the Sport design and favor the Classic. However, I want LTE support. It’s bummer the “better” looking watch doesn’t have all the features the Sport model has. Not really feelin the numbers on the edge either. But that’s me.
