OnePlus has promised to make it a better experience with the invite system this time around with the OnePlus 2 on deck. Last year people were furious with the inability to get their hands on one of the most coveted devices of 2014. I’m sure the OnePlus 2 will have a similar effect some. Regardless of how you feel about the invite system, it is the way to get your hands on the new OnePlus flagship killer. Here are a few ways to get invites.
The most recent way to increase your chances on getting invited to buy the OnePlus 2 is through getting on the reservation list by clicking here. Once you click the link scroll down the page and enter your email address and it will tell you your position in line. There is a unique link that becomes yours to share and if someone uses your link it will help bump you up on the list. So make sure to click HERE to get started.
The other ways to get an invite are familiar to what we saw last year. OnePlus will roll out invites in phases or waves. Once people buy the phone they will be given invites to share and then there goes the domino effect.
Another way to get invites is through contests and promotions. This is where OnePlus got themselves in trouble last year with some controversial contests. I’m sure we will be in for a treat this year and I am actually looking forward to see what creative contests they come up with this time around. I would suggest following OnePlus on the social networks and stay tuned to Bane Tech as we will do our best to alert you on any contests/promos OnePlus hosts.
Last but not least, being involved in the forums. This is the method that I believe got me the ability to get my hands on a OnePlus One relatively earlier than many people. I was a somewhat early adopter and contributed to the forums and it gave me a fighting chance to buy a OnePlus One in one of the early roll-outs. This is my favorite method because it was rewarding to receive an invite due to working on contributing to the forums.
One other way to look to get a device without an invite is from people selling their devices on websites like Swappa and eBay, but expect to pay a higher price if supply/demand is anything like it was like last year with the One.
