My luck with ordering a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Pre-Orders has been really rough. First, the Samsung website was down the entire day on pre-order launch day. Therefore, I pre-ordered through Best Buy, which at the time of purchase showed I would get the device on February 25th. Great! Not so much.
Every day I checked the status of my order and a few days after the order, I noticed the ETA was changed to April, APRIL! I’m like nah, I don’t want to wait that long and I thought it was pretty messed up that I was told Feb. 25th, not a date WEEKS later.
With the big delay, I went back to Samsung’s website and was able to put in an order for a black S22 Ultra 512GB version. The ETA was sighted for March 5th. I could live with that.
But Galaxy S22 Ulta Units Were Arriving EARLY?
Tweets and social media posts started showing units arriving early this week and I was beginning to be a bit hopeful about potentially getting my unit early or at least on time according to my order. Nope…
I woke up this morning, checked my order status, and now my Samsung order says March 25th…WTF 🤦🏼♂️🤬
I’m not happy.
So in order to get a device sooner, I am going to have to cancel this order and hope Best Buy has units at my local store, miss out on the pre-order extras, spend money on the extras that would have been free, and miss out on the storage bump deal.
Samsung really needs to work on these issues. It’s not fair to say when a device will show up and then change it later. Galaxy S22 Ultra Pre-Orders through Samsung and Best Buy haven’t been the best experience. Does anyone else have this problem? Let me know in the comments. Hopefully, I will be able to secure an S22 Ultra. I have some fun content I want to make with it.
