Google Pixel XL 2 leaked image

Exclusive Hands On: Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 cases show up on Amazon

Lately, there has been a lot of rumours and leaks floating around the internet for new upcoming smartphones. One of the flagships is the successor to the Google Pixel XL, the Google Pixel XL 2.

Customers can purchase the Google Pixel XL 2 is to arrive in late 2017, with its smaller brother the Google Pixel 2 as well. The search giant was done with the Nexus line and introduced the Pixel line late last year. With recent leaks, case companies like ‘LK’ are already producing and selling cases for the Google Pixel XL 2.

Cut to the chase

Here is the Google Pixel XL 2 case in question. There are some design changes to the existing Pixel phone. I Picked it up in the gloss black finish which actually looks really slick. Compared to the OG Pixel it it slight taller and thinner as you can see you in the picture.

Looking at the case further it doesn’t look like it has a tapered design like the original Pixel. The fingerprint sensor on the back is shifted up a little, and the camera cut outs are different it accommodate for the larger camera sensor.

Stacking it up to the Pixel XL the device looks a little taller and but looks to be the same width. What’s interesting is the picture inside the case, as these are normally a replica of the real phone. On this picture it shows the larger 18:9 screen which has been rumoured. The pictures show dual front facing speakers. Also if you look at the bottom of the case, there are no cut outs for the speakers! If this is true, this will hopefully be one of the best Google phones. I say that about my original Pixel XL, so I can only hope!

The picture also shows the curved edges of the screen which is another trend in recent smartphones. Smartphones like the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ have the curved corners which gives them a modern look.

To Conclude

I will definitely be pre-ordering the Pixel XL 2 at launch, will you? Be sure to tell us in the comments and what other features are you hoping for.
