60Hz is an inadequate refresh rate for an LCD TV. 120Hz is a good starting point. Most higher quality LCD TV’s have 240Hz. It’s been years since I’ve seen an LCD TV with “first generation” 60Hz technology, and that was in low cost brand X TV’s sold at big box stores. The combination of a 60Hz refresh rate in a 4K TV makes as much sense as powering a corvette with a motorcycle engine. This deeply flawed TV is aggressively discounted for a reason.
