The Just Like Glass Screen Protector is just like what the name says. It literally feels just like glass. Which is actually important to me because I have a quality device and I want a quality experience with the operation of the device. I don’t want to have a screen protector that marks up easy, feels cheap or is a pain to install. Fortunately, the JLG looks good, feels good and is not a difficult installation.

The installation is a rather simple process but you must pay attention to the details in order to set yourself up for success. DBA does a great job of filling you in with all the necessary info and tools to complete a quality installation. I strongly encourage you to read the directions a couple times before installing the JLG on your device. It would be wise to have your tools and supplies laid out and ready for use for when their number is called.

I have done a few installations and reviews for other devices so feel free to check those out and check out DBAcases.com for other helps for optimal preparation. It never hurts to be too careful. From my experience for the most part if something goes wrong with a screen protector installation it is user error and not the companies fault. One of the down falls about screen protectors is that the company relies on the customer to install their product.

In a nut shell the installation is a wet application. Follow the guide provided in the packaging to the “T” and you should not run into any issues. Pretty much all you have to do is make sure you are indoors with a dust free environment. Meaning shut off fans or anything that can blow around dust. Wash your hands, have a bowl of water next to you, clean the screen off prior to peeling off the screen protector from the film and most of all be patient. Do not rush yourself and budget yourself some time. Make sure your fingers are wet when handling the screen protector and spray the sticky side with the provided solution. Line up the screen protector with landmarks such as the home button and the camera. Make sure the sides are flush and are not slanted. Once you have everything lined up get a squeegee or credit card with a cloth on the edge to work out the extra liquid and bubbles. I like to start from the middle and work it out to the sides. Wipe off the device and inspect.

A few things to keep in mind is that it is common to have slight bubbles or hazing. Try to work those out as best as you can. Over the next day or so the bubbles will fade away. Every few hours you will need to press the edges down to help secure the sides. By day three the screen protector should look pristine.

I really like the feel of the Just Like Glass screen protector. The responsiveness and feel are great. I tested out the responsiveness by performing slow and fast swipes, along with a typing test. Everything worked just fine. The installation wasn’t too bad. I didn’t line up the JLG just right during the first two attempts but was able to get right about the third try. I have had the JLG installed for about a week from this date and there a couple minute bubbles left over and the edges didn’t adhere to look as if there was no screen protector installed. But I take the blame for those issues. This was not the best install I have done and I have installed a few JLG screen protectors on other devices near perfectly.

A couple cool facts that stand out to me about the Just Like Glass is that it adds 30% protection against impact. So it not only protects against scrapes and scratches but will help reduce the chances of the screen breaking by 30%! The other fact is simply the feel. I love how it feels like glass and not plastic.

Check out the video installation and review. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
