This is no April Fools Day joke or prank. Cricket is just getting better and better. Today they announced a way to make it even easier to bring your own device to probably one of the best prepaid wireless deals out there. Their rates are super low and you get pretty good coverage. As of today you can order a new SIM card from Amazon.
As an avid Amazon user I am always happy to see more ways to use em for my shopping pleasure. My family uses Amazon all the time for various products. I’m sure I am not the only one excited to see more services like what Cricket offers to come to Amazon!
The SIM card is only $10, which is the standard pricing for the SIMs anyways, but being able to use Amazon service to get the purchase is just an added bonus. As long as you have an unlocked GSM compatible device you are set to go. You can even check out their plans while you are at it making this a one stop shop.
If you have followed Bane Tech for a good amount of time you would know that I gave the wireless company a shot when I had the OnePlus One, but at the time it was not worth dropping Verizon. However, there has been a lot of improvement since that post. At that time only 500mb of high speed data was offered. Now there is 2.5GBs of high speed data for the same low price of $35 a month (after signing up for autopay). In my opinion Cricket is one of, if not the best option for prepaid wireless service. Be on the lookout for a follow up review on Cricket Wireless while I am using the Moto E 2015.
