Yesterday, I had a friend ask me what the best cameras under $500. At first, I was going to simply forward a few links, but thought this could be some useful info for others as well. The cameras listed below are in no particular order, some I have had experience with, and others are educated opinions using other’s reviews, etc. If you have a recommendation please leave a comment of what you think is a good camera under $500.
Panasonic Lumix G7 – 4k video recording, Micro Four Thirds mount, flip out touch screen, amazing Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 6 Megapixels.
Panasonic Lumix FZ300 – 4k video recording, Micro Four Thirds mount, flip out touch screen, amazing Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), zoom is incredible, 24X (25-600mm) full-range F2.8 aperture Leica Lens, 12.1-megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor
Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR – APS-C sensor, EF mount, can expand lens collection with many great choices in the EF mount lens family, many YouTubers started out with this camera and is still a solid choice, 18MP CMOS sensor,
GoPro Hero 7 Black – GoPro has stepped up their game with this new release. The only drawback is low light still needs improvement, otherwise, you’re getting amazing electronic image stabilization, small form factor, waterproof without a casing, 4K60 Video + 12MP Photos, and live streaming features.
Samsung Gear 360 (2017 Edition) Real 360° 4K – Fun camera to take good photos and video. 4k video, 15mp for photos, connect to an app to share from your phone, works with iOS and Android, water resistant, and can fit in your pocket.
