No Apple devices for Clippers per the boss – Steve Ballmer

A report came out today that the new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Steve Balmer, has banned all Apple products from team use. Ballmer, as the former CEO of Microsoft, obviously still has a very strong loyalty to his former company, along with some seemingly strong feelings toward Apple. I guess years of being up front in the trenches, trying to fight off the other big tech giants, have made an indelible mark on his loyalties and enmities. You can see his passion for Microsoft in the video.

The ban doesn’t actually begin until the 2016 season, so the players and other members of the franchise have a little time to continue to immerse themselves in I-love.

Personally, I think there’s something to admire about this kind of loyalty. We’ll see how it goes over with the players.
