T-Mobile today announced Uncarrier 12, a plan to move all postpaid plans to an unlimited data plan dubbed T-Mobile One. The plan will include calls, text and data, all unlimited, in addition to previous benefits already in force.
T-Mobile One Plans
Plans are $70 per month for the first line, $50 for the second, then $20 for any others up to a total of eight lines. Subscribers will be allowed to consume all the data they desire without overages. This means that T-Mo will no longer need to keep track of rollover data from earlier promotions. Tablets can also be added for $20 each with 4G LTE speeds, along with connected wearables (smartwatches) for $5 per month with 2G speeds.
T-Mobile WILL still throttle the top three percent of data consumers, meaning those that are using 26 GB per month.
The T-Mobile One rollout will begin September 6th and current customers will be able to transfer to the new plan without penalty (except for the price increase, where applicable).
