Plugable USB 3.0 10-Port Hub (48W Power Adapter)

Plugable pretty much has your connection needs covered. Recently they released their newest computer companion, the Plugable USB 3.0 10-Port Hub with 48W Power Adapter. The name sums up what this device is all about. It gives you a total of ten ports all being USB 3.0. Better yet USB 2.0 devices play nice with this hub too. It’s awesome that these ports are for connecting phones, hard drives and more to computers; but hub will also charge everything for you as well.

One of the facts I like about this Plugable Hub is that it helps decrease wired clutter. Personally, the use I have for this is to have a quality USB hub to connect with my two computers. I have my MacBook on the left and my Dell PC on the right. By placing the USB hub in the middle I can plug straight in the middle rather than weaving around monitors, etc.

There are two flip up ports that are great for any devices that you don’t want sticking out of the sides, which are great for flash drives.

The technological world is beginning to transition into using USB 3.0 from USB 2.0. The Note 3 was the first smartphone to start using USB 3.0 and we recently witnessed the new Galaxy S5 follow suite with the older brother. I’ve had a Seagate hard drive for about year now and it also uses USB 3.0. Most computers being made now are integrating the same tech in their systems and USB 2.0 will soon phase out. It’s nice to see a company like Plugable giving customers what need to keep up with the latest tech.

Normally at the end of the of a review like this I list off any concerns or cons about a product. But there really isn’t anything bad to say about this practical device. It functions great and does what it needs to do. It’s easy to use being plug-n-play.

If you need something for your gaming setup this is a perfect solution for not only computers but for gaming consoles and accessories. You really can’t go wrong with this device.
