Eclipse Rom – Touchwiz with AOSP Styling – Verizon Galaxy S4

Eclipse ROM version 1.3 for the Verizon Galaxy S4 has become my #1 ROM. No discredit or disrespect for all the other developers out there. Eclipse satisfies my hybrid wants out of a ROM. I REALLY like stock Android, but for the Galaxy S4 you lose out on some top notch features. This is the beauty of Eclipse. You get all the Touchwiz goodness with the style of AOSP stock Android!

This ROM has run ver smooth for me and I have had minimal issues pop up. Initially there is a problem with the contacts/dialer but nitroglycerine33 provides a flashable zip t install in recovery. I flashed the zip right after installing the ROM and my contacts/dialer has worked like a charm.

You have to choice to install an inverted or non-inverted ROM theme. I like the vanilla look the most, but I am currently running the blacked out theme. Which is growing on me.

Check out the video for installation and an overview of what the ROM looks like. Take a look at the screenshots as well. Version 1.4 has some minor changes but is sort of an unofficial release. Version 1.5 should be right around the corner. So be sure to stick around Bane Tech for some updates.

Don’t forget to give some Android love to nitroglycerine33 for his awesome work! You can donate to him if you feel the desire to do so HERE.
