Hurricane/ Tropical Storm Isaac brings a great point up when thinking about keeping up with the latest news of a storm. There are plenty of options using your mobile device to have alerts sent to you. There are weather apps, storm tracker apps and text alerts that can be customized to your needs. Go to your app store and try some out. I personally like Weather Bug for my alerts. For a quick look app I like HurricaneSoftware App on the Amazon.
