OnePlus 5 supported network bands are an improvement from the past. It’s closer to gaining support with Verizon networks and bands. OnePlus announced during the launch event, “We listened and people wanted a global device, so we did it…” However, not truly being a phone that truly accepts all network types. They mentioned that it’s a true global phone. That’s kinda true. It’s definitely still a GSM device. There seems to be potential to be able to work on Verizon and I will test that out when I get the device later this week. I’ll update this post accordingly.
For the rest of everyone else who will be using GSM carriers, check out the details of what network and band types come with the OnePlus 5. It is an unlocked device that supports 34 network bands.
