TYLT is one of my favorite device accessory companies. They provide many awesome products to accommodate your mobile tech. Out of all the accessories I use, I use TYLT the most. Some of my favorite accessories they make include the Wireless Charging Car Mount, DUO Cables, Galaxy S6 Battery Case, and well…now that I think of it, there really isn’t a product they make that’s not a favorite of mine. Not trying to brown-nose here, but they really just make fantastic products.
Today, TYLT launched a new crowd funded product called the ENERGI Desktop Charging Station. At first I was not too, too excited about yet another desktop charger to be created out of the other hundred other types of chargers out there, this one actually does stand out a from the rest. And that’s no surprise coming from TYLT.
The five-port charging station ensures the entire family, or multi-gadget power users, all have one place to conveniently and quickly charge all their devices. Key features include:
- Ability to charge five devices at once via the SmartDetect™ ports, which provide the maximum rapid charging rate the phone or tablet will accept.
- Four built-in, rapid charging 2.4amp USB ports (50 Watts total); charges 2X faster than most standard wall chargers.
- A fifth 1A port, which doubles as a removable, rechargeable 3200mAh battery pack, meaning your portable battery pack is always fully charged.
- Only takes up one outlet.
- Built-in cable management system.
As you can see, this desktop charger isn’t your average charger. These days I am only interested in chargers with quick charging technology. Currently, I am using a Note 5 and have a Nexus 6P on the way; both of which have quick charging tech. Therefore, I must have chargers that will rapidly charge my devices.
A couple of my favorite feature of this desktop charger is the included removable power bank and the idea of consolidating/organizing cables.
TYLT is hoping to raise $30,000 in 25 days and will deliver product to backers by November 2015. The ENERGI Desktop Charging station will retail for $99.99, but early bird Indiegogo backers can get it for just $35.
