I quit…
Last week I put in my resignation at my day job. It wasn’t for sour reasons. I quit my day job to become a full-time content creator. This is something I have dreamed about for a while.
About two years ago I had a photographer friend of mine make the suggestion I should start doing wedding videos. I thought about it, fished the waters, and found a couple I could film. The rest is history. I’ve been making wedding videos and have even gotten in on the photography side as well. As time went on, the busier and heavier load came with working full-time somewhere, working full-time with the business, full-time family, not to mention Bane Tech, and all the other things part of my life. Needless to say, I’ve been a loaded down guy.
Up until this year, I have been dabbling in the grey area of where I could not do one thing without the other, concerning my business and working for the company I have been with for about three years. This year it got to a point where working at the day job was hurting my business growth and efficiency.
Furthermore, Bane Tech took the back burner as I had to prioritize my workload. It’s not something I wanted to do but had to do. Fortunately, those days are gone! Bane Creative is definitely still the priority, BUT I will be able to build back up Bane Tech and contribute more content from this point on. I would not be anywhere where I am without Bane Tech. I’m not dropping it or giving it up.
