Huawei told Android Central that the Huawei P30 Pro will have periscope zoom and enhanced night sight camera features. Between Huawei, Samsung, Google, and Apple, who in my opinion, have the best smartphone cameras, they are all adding some great features each and every release. The P30 Pro is set to release March 26, 2019.
After looking at Android Central’s post and seeing the moon shot, I was impressed and immediately thought how useful this would have been during the recent Super Blood Wolf Moon.
Google’s Night Sight feature set the standard for low light shots and is very impressive. Other companies followed Google’s lead with adding better low light performance and it looks like Huawei is going to introduce their own efforts with the P30 Pro.
All these new features are great and I hope to see it in action at some point.
Huawei’s campaign is “Rewrite the Rules” concerning photography. I am excited to see what they have to offer. This year I am making a point to use more mobile photography and videography. I have the Moment Anamorphic lens for some epic flares to be added to my footage and plan to vlog more with phones.
