Apple iPhone event today – delayed release rumored

Well, the big Apple event is today. This one is a big deal, since this will commemorate the 10^th anniversary of the iPhone. iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone Edition? No one is sure of what the new device will be named. There are rumors that the actual availability will be delayed, due to supply chain issues with the stainless-steel frame of the new phone. Interesting, since the iPhone4 and 4S had stainless-steel frames so, one would think, it wouldn’t be a problem. But, there is supposedly an all new design, so what’s causing the issue is anyone’s guess. Either way, the word is that no one will get it in hand until November.

There is also a supposed completely new Apple developed process for Face ID, which is completely different from any other device’s facial recognition software. It will be interesting to see Apple come with some innovation in this area. Also, the new Apple Watch is expected.

Start time is 10AM, Pacific from San Francisco and the event will be streamed live so, I’m sure we can all find it via many devices and channels. Apple TV, Apple Live on YouTube, etc. Some YouTube channels already have a live stream running. So, whether you’re an Apple/iPhone lover or just curious, be there or be square.
